Following on from the video I made last year of Selkie Kayaks’ maiden voyage (formerly Greenland Kayaks), I was tasked with photographing Chris working in his workshop using various tools for use on his website and other PR purposes.

Selkie Kayaks is a small independent workshop in Newhaven (East Sussex) making high quality wood and composite sea kayaks for stock and to order.

Our focus is on kayaks inspired by and copied from original West Greenland hunting boats made and used by Inuit. Along with other Arctic boats these craft form the bedrock of all modern sea kayak designs today.

Provide pictures of the craftsman working in his workshop for website and PR purposes.
