Flyaway Quadcopter drone

This was a cheap drone from China -Syma X8C. It didn’t have any clever GPS functions or come home button. Lessons learned.

Lost control of my Syma X8C quadcopter. The wind, the controls… flyaway began.. Couldn’t see it after at short time so very lucky I got it back ok.
Think I activated headless mode by accident but the thing forgot where I was and flew off out of sight.. No GPS on this model. Nice crash landing!
Lol, got one for my Son’s Birthday, took off and was last seen flying up, up and away over the village church never to be seen again! What a piece of junk. Get a Parrot AR or Bebop, you can limit the flying window and altitude.
Oh dear.. nature of the beast I fear. I just had my Blade 350QX3 fly off today too. Getting fed up with the unreliabilities of these machines. More money gone, cest la.
